TERRIBLE :'D Lark's coping mechanisms are all recently learned and ineffective and also like half of them are Absinthe to begin with. he has NO emotional resilience and ultimately responds to this in the most unhelpful way possible, which is >shut down completely.
because it's Absinthe he might make... tiny... cursory movements towards like at least. confirming? that he really doesn't remember anything about him? which is technically an improvement on if it were just about anyone else but in the end even if Absinthe reached out to start over he'd just. it would be really interesting for their relationship too tho because like... Lark tends to approach people from a stance of looking down on them and so far March is the only exception to this in deco, as an equal, but like that level of emotional vulnerability, especially once Absinthe starts remembering him again, could probably totally flip that aspect of their dynamic
