TERRIBLE :'D Lark's coping mechanisms are all recently learned and ineffective and also like half of them are Absinthe to begin with. he has NO emotional resilience and ultimately responds to this in the most unhelpful way possible, which is >shut down completely.
because it's Absinthe he might make... tiny... cursory movements towards like at least. confirming? that he really doesn't remember anything about him? which is technically an improvement on if it were just about anyone else but in the end even if Absinthe reached out to start over he'd just. NOPE. NOPE CAN'T FUCKING DEAL WITH THIS and just possibly literally run away
and continue to not cope for a whileee
it would be really interesting for their relationship too tho because like... Lark tends to approach people from a stance of looking down on them and so far March is the only exception to this in deco, as an equal, but like that level of emotional vulnerability, especially once Absinthe starts remembering him again, could probably totally flip that aspect of their dynamic
I THINK IT WOULD GO DOWN IN A "Oh, you forgot. Okay." and then just hang around really open and himself about it. But it would be really heartbreaking in a not entirely up front way. It would mean his entire emotional precipice would be on Gil. He may just slide back into only Gil - in the sense of shutting everyone else out. He would still be 'open' with the but not allow any relationship growth on his side :');;;

VVVAGUELY. technically yes!? like he realizes his place in the rankings... but also since Absinthe has a clear Most Important Person and that person is here Lark kind of expects that he doesn't actually need anyone else and would be okay with throwing anyone else away. NOT THAT HE'D DO IT HAPPILY, BUT HE'D STILL... BE WILLING TO. to him the distinction between "want" and "need" is really huge and meaningful and he doesn't think Absinthe has any real "need" of him, which is a large part of the. terror thing! WANTING ISN'T ENOUGH
so in part he is underestimating his importance but really it is more that he is overestimating Gil's importance

I only want to be on psychopath teams in amnesia games anymore hahaha. Or at least teams with one crazy person/psychopath. So in Deco that means Coprse or Celeste. So yes probably Celeste. That is where I put her for the thread with Vic anyway so.
WHAT ARE LARK'S IMPRESSIONS OF THE VARIOUS TEAMS and how do these differ from yours oocly :?
um his thoughts/impressions are obviously very colored by personal experience and has different information from what I have and prioritizes his information differently, so like while I try to formulate my impressions into GENERALIZATIONS I CAN TRY TO MAKE FIT THE WHOLE TEAM his impressions are more along the lines of "how do they behave in games"
I'm... I'm too tired to list my impressions of the teams
o wait also Copper Rose offered them an alliance so I guess "Copper Rose is kind of (unsure), not in a bad way just in a. why. what u doin. way."
I never think about uniforms . . . or clothing tbh. Unless my characters have a particular style preference it doesn't enter my sphere of thinking hahaha and even if they do I don't think of it tooo often beyond establishing a certain personality link.
so i will just give a quick clothing thing for my deco boys.
Enkidu pretty much sticks with androgynous clothing! He generally won't wear anything that isn't gender neutral in some respect. Though he would wear things that fall into either more 'masculine' or 'feminine' choices but he definitely prefers to be androgynous in dress. He IS comfortable crossdressing but I think it would be a little weird for him to be mistaken for a girl even MORE than he already is.
KIREI HAS GREAT FASHION DECISIONS and actually only wears the most expensive top line awesome fashion clothes wh...en... he dresses like a normal person. Basically when not in priestgear he dresses like a sociopath (because he is one hahaha).
BUT OK IF ENKIDU ASKED LARK OUT WHAT WOULD LARK'S EXACT REACTION BE.
